Strathmore Business Centres’ Launch Evening

Thursday 10th December 2009 saw the official launch of Strathmore Business Centres at 10 York Place. The event, involving over 60 invited guests, saw a whole variety of drinks and food being served in the Forth and Clyde Suites. Guests were invited from various walks of business life ranging from architects and solicitors to joiners and decorators.
The evening, by all accounts, proved to be a great succes. Here are a few of the reviews which we recieved:
‘A restoration worth looking at on so many levels.’
” Last night I attended the launch event for Strathmore serviced offices on York Place. What a delight to see that the owners have refurbished with such a flair; successfully putting the building back to how it once was. Where cornices had been ruthlessly removed in the past, they have been restored. I spoke to the joiner who lovingly replaced skirting boards and repaired sash windows. It’s altogether a beautiful attempt at bringing a sadly neglected building back to life. The hospitality offered to the many visitors last night mirrored the caring theme applied to the restoration. Much of the food had been prepared in the owners home and was served by attentive stewards.
If you get the chance pop in and ask to have a look around,you really will be welcome. Its all part of the family friendly ethos. Four of the units have already been let which is testament to the efforts that are being applied by the owners.”
